How we turn your customer's phone into a diagnostic assistant
What we can do for you
Bespoke app development

We design, programme and publish native apps that can read, record and manage the use of in vitro diagnostic devices.

The apps enable your customers to make informed medical and lifestyle choices using technology that they already own - smartphones. This maximises convenience, improves accurate reading and minimises cost and the unnecessary production of stand-alone device readers.

Assay development and optimisation

If an assay requires development or improvement in conjunction with app development, we can do that. Sister company, RAPIvD is one of the world's leaders in in vitro diagnostic R&D and can combine its services with RAPAPPS projects.
a Tried-and-tested process
Our process is not revolutionary. In fact, it's beautifully simple. The only thing to mention is that we know this process works and that we communicate with you at agreed milestones - so you're as up to date with progress as you need to be.
1. Planning
We will already have a very good idea of what is required by the time that the proposal is drafted and approved. However, we take nothing for granted and make sure that everyone in the process takes a thorough brief. Collectively, we ensure that all aspects of science, programming, content and design are covered - and when we're confident that we have the information required to make progress, we agree next steps and key milestones.
2. Programming & Design
After a user journey is mapped, we progress with the programming and app visuals. Each project can present a range of complex technical challenges, especially in the area of optical reading, light variability and device connectivity.
3. Test & Publish
After iterations, the app goes through internal testing prior to being published for beta-testing. Feedback will indicate if fine-tuning is required prior to release.
